Tuition for Legal Residents of North Carolina
For the 2023-24 academic year, tuition for legal residents of North Carolina is $76 per credit hour or a maximum of $1,216 for students enrolled in fall or spring semester, or summer term for 16 or more credit hours. Tuition is subject to change by the NC General Assembly. High school students enrolling in 麻豆精品在线播放 classes are exempt from tuition charges.

Tuition for Out-of-State Students
For the 2023-24 academic year, tuition for out-of-state residents (persons who have NOT maintained domicile in the state for at least the 12 previous months) is $268 per credit hour or a maximum of $4,288 for students enrolled in fall or spring semester, or summer term for 16 or more credit hours.

Additional Fees
Students should also include textbook costs in their total costs as well as fees that are charged for some courses for special supplies, materials, or certification exams. Paying for Tuition and Fees
All tuition and fees are due and payable at the Cashier's Window in the White Building entrance foyer, during the official registration period.
If registering via Self-Service, students may pay by credit card during the registration transaction. Students will not receive a bill and are responsible for paying by the established deadlines. Students may pay by cash, check, money order, or credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express). Partial payments or credits are not accepted. No portion of a check made payable to 麻豆精品在线播放 will be given to a student except at the written request of the person making the remittance, and the written request must be mailed directly to the College鈥檚 Business Manager.
Paying Remotely for Online Courses
The most efficient and real-time way to pay is using the following options:
- Pay with a credit card, pre-paid card, or by check through Self-Service once you have registered for classes.
- Set up an online Nelnet Payment Plan
If options 1 and 2 are not possible, use option 3:

Special Circumstance: The third-party authorization letter. Some courses may be paid for by an outside agency鈥(vocational rehabilitation, JOCCA, or WIOA).鈥疭tudents must provide a copy of the 鈥渁uthorization to pay鈥 letter from the agency along with their registration form.
Auditing a Course as a Senior Citizen
Senior citizens (age 65 years or older on the first day of the course) may audit credit or non-credit (Continuing Education) courses with the following guidelines as outlined in :
- Tuition and Continuing Education registration fees will be waived. Students will be responsible for local fees associated with the course.
- Auditing a course depends on the space available in the course. The auditing student cannot displace students enrolling or registering in the course to receive a grade, academic credit, continuing education unit, or certificate of completion.
- Students must complete the audit registration within the schedule adjustment period during a term. Schedule adjustment is generally the first two days of a term.
- Self-supporting courses are not eligible.
