Register for Continuing Education Courses
Continuing Education programs are open to adults 18 years and older on a first-come, space-available basis unless special admission requirements must be met.
Payment of registration fees and any additional fees must also be made prior to attending class. All high school students who participate in dual enrollment must be at least 16 years old.

You will need to know the five-digit section number for the course. Refer to course descriptions for information. You do not need to have a Self-Service account or to login to register.
Courses with prerequisites require submitting proof of completion of prerequisites before registration may be completed online. Review the program webpage you are interested in for registration instructions.
First-time online registration for non-US citizens cannot be completed online. Please use the mail option listed below

Complete the appropriate registration form. Use the address and fax numbers on the form to mail in your registration.

If you are paying for someone else, such as an employer paying on behalf of an employee:
- Email the Continuing Education Registration Form and the Sponsorship Billing Template to registration@durhamtech.edu. Forms should be submitted at least 5 days prior to the start date of the course. No payment should be sent until an invoice is received from Accounts Receivable at 麻豆精品在线播放.
- You will receive a confirmation email within 48 hours. If not, please reach out to 919-536-7200, ext. 1800. Sponsors/Employers are responsible for giving the course information to their employees.
If you have multiple employees, you can indicate all in the Sponsorship Billing Letter, but each student must complete the Continuing Education Registration Form. The student will then be registered and the Sponsorship Billing Letter forwarded to Accounts Receivable for processing.
If withdrawing a Sponsorship, it is your responsibility to notify the college immediately in writing to registration@durhamtech.edu before class starts to prevent an invoice being sent. In the event that a transfer is required, a new Sponsorship Billing Letter must be submitted prior to the class starting.
Online Enrollment is not an option with Sponsorship billing. The letter must have an authorizing signature.

- Paying for Courses
Payment must be received before the first class. The most efficient and real-time way to pay is using the following:

- The third-party authorization letter: Some courses may be paid for by an outside agency鈥(vocational rehabilitation, JOCCA, or WIOA).鈥疭tudents must provide a copy of the 鈥渁uthorization to pay鈥 letter from the agency along with their registration form.
Accepted Forms of Payment
Check, money order, or credit card (American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa). 麻豆精品在线播放 verifies checks and credit cards to ensure that accounts are active and in good standing.
Third-Party authorization letter: Public Safety and some health care courses may be paid for by an outside agency (vocational rehabilitation, JOCCA, or WIOA). Students must provide a copy of the authorization to pay letter from the agency along with the registration form.

Continuing Education course costs include an $11.25 fee for College access, parking, and security; computer use and technology; and accident insurance. Some non-credit courses have additional fees for exams and certifications or malpractice insurance. Students enrolled in classes for which tuition is waived are not required to pay the fee which consists of:
Computer Use and Technology Fee: $5.00 per course
College Access, Parking, and Security Fee: $5.00 per course
Student Accident Insurance: $1.25 per course
Students are responsible for at-cost fees paid directly with outside vendors as they relate to program-specificscheduled requirements, e.g., uniforms, criminal background checks, drug screenings, immunizations, requirement tracking, clinical placements. These requirements are specified on the program webpage.
- Auditing a Course as a Senior Citizen
Senior citizens (age 65 years or older on the first day of the course) may audit courses with the following guidelines as outlined in 1E SBCCC 1000.2:C:
Tuition and Non-credit registration fees will be waived. Students will be responsible for local fees associated with the course. Auditing a course depends on the space available in the course. The auditing student cannot displace students enrolling or registering in the course to receive a grade, academic credit, continuing education unit, or certificate of completion.
Email registration@durhamtech.edu to obtain an Audit Request form.
- Students must complete the audit registration within the schedule adjustment period during a term or session. Schedule adjustment is generally the first two days of a term or session.
- Self-supporting courses are not eligible.
